Book Sale in Tusayan

The community library in the Grand Canyon National Park is trying to raise money for new books and other stuff it needs. The book sale was in a parking lot at one of our local hotels. The library has been closed all Summer, but plans on opening up on Monday…mainly just the computer area. I assume it’s so students can do school work.

I was hoping to find some books about the Amish. One of my neighbors that works at Starbucks wanted them to give to his mom. Unfortunately I didn’t find any but the people running the sale said that they would look for any in the library.

I bought 4 books and was given a free book about California Condors. The library had a small stack of multiple copies so they were randomly giving extras away.
